Hello Mr. Fugimo....your pictures are Great. Somewhere in my old snapshots, I have a picture , at Parker race, of Bobby Massey's Switzer Wing twin with roostertail leading the 1st lap, I think 1969-70, directly above him is Skip Volk in his Chipmonk Aerobatic plane flying upside down with a smoke trail. ( he was finishing up his act cause he got started late). It's not upclose or a "good pic but when I learn to post pics, I'll get it out.
Now, might you have a picture of my boat? Boat #617, Sweet n Pretty, from 1972 Parker Enduro. It was a single engine Merc, Ron Jones looking boat. Finixshed the race in 31st after being down with a bfoken drive shaft for 1 1/2 hrs. Thank you for looking. Tom Watkins. Oh, the name Terry's Outboard, Farmington NM Was printed on the white cowling.

...yet he's still work'n on the fuel "delivery" thing...
Did this thing ever get airborne???
Many times... Convair XF2Y-1 Seadart seaplane fighter. I think three were built in total, one lost in flight during a pretty extensive test program. One of the survivors sits on a pole outside the San Diego Air and Space museum.
Good info and a video here:

Cool, thanks for the reply.
Very Cool, nice to see something older than me :leaving:
I nice display boat. Jim Apel built alky boat with a 1960's style Mod Merc motor. In competition, it would be too tall to handle well (notice how much taller the motor is than the cowling on the boat) and not enough power for the boat. Best right where it is - on the trailer.
Shouldn't go anywhere since it is chained to the trailer
or water intakes.
