The #85 boat with the 2.0 litre looper Evinrude crashed bad early in the race if I remember right.

Well..Jackie I have no interest argue with you about this but the fact is the UIM F1 World Series V6 2 liter race in Chalon, France 1991 was not a FONDA race.

Very strange seeing as how the Fonda series ran until 1993 . —- OMC had gone ,after losing millions—- San Germano and Cees Had nowhere to go——— hi- jack the Fonda Series was the obvious choice.

“FACT”. Is Lasse — in the ten years of the FONDA series [WHICH WAS LIMITED TO MOTORS OF TWO LITRES ]. OMC ONLY EVER ONE ONE HEAT ——-CEES MUNICH. HE WAS FAST— BUT UNRELIABLE —— HE PARKED THE BOAT AND MOTOR AFTER THE FIRST HEAT AND RETIRED !!!!!!!!!! [NEVER TO RETURN]. OMC WAS ALWAYS KNOWN AS “THE OLD MOTOR COMPANY”. DUE TO THE LACK OF ANY NEW DEVELOPMEN “FACT”
One time they bought into the old WANKEL company —— but like every other company that took out a licence —-failed miserably !!!!! Simply cost them a shed load of money!!!!

Roger Hinsdalee in his extremely nice Molinari/Johnson V6 RS 2.6 liter. My best guess is this boat was build 1977 or -78 by the Molinari factory based in Lago di Como, Italy. I have been there many times. A lake front factory and a five stories building.. Margo Hinsdale
