And when you are in the Keys, with nothing to do, you can walk from the Atlantic to the Gulf. And stop at a few bars along the way.

You know what——- I have a shop full of stuff just like that——- oh, that looks nice——- do I need it —— no. Do I want it ??? Might come in useful one day! Maybe give it to a friend for Christmas! Only to get it back again ten years later. It’s gone the full cycle—— except for the last stop.
THE CHARITY SHOP—— then it’s life cycle starts all over again!
I sold the SCHULTZE tunnel to guy named MIKE ROSE—— he named it HOT ON —— class he raced in was ON of course !
Being of sound mind, with a modicum of wit and hilarity, thought I might call the little 16’ Schultze
“ HARD ON”. —— Cyril Benstead was commandatore of the !
LMBRC at the time and flat told me “ THERES NO WAY YOU CAN RACE A BOAT WITH A NAME LIKE THAT,!!
Was many years later I saw the justification for Cyril’s concern !
Can just imagine our Scottish commentator Jimmy Baird
Here comes JACKIE WILSON with WEE HARD ON,
Implications were endless——- ?

Whilst we do have a couple of hundred tulips of different colour dotted around the garden——— we don’t have anything like this.
First glance I thought it was a DUTCH tulip farm—— but it’s actually in England.
I get surprised by something every day!
Washing machine of “Her Indoors” died of natural causes aged just two years——- resuscitations would have cost around £200——brand fire new device was priced at £265 ( half price due to Coronavirus ) It was No Contest! ——— she decided on DNR .
Simple job of fitting replacement, turned into a two day nightmare.
Damn thing gets delivered tomorrow——— guess who gets to fit it ? ( Due to Coronavirus of course).
I guess we all have had lives since we gave up boat racing. Besides work I took up snow skiing and tried a couple of other motor sports. I found that I couldn't financially support running go karts competitively due to the cost of tires. One weekend of racing could burn through 3 sets. Tried motocross but found that it was a sport for guys younger than my then 33 years. Eventually by way of training for ski seasons I just kind of fell into bicycle racing. I wound up racing bicycles for about 13 seasons. Cost a lot less than motor sports but took a lot more time. Takes a lot of miles and a lot of hours to get the ability just to hang on in the peloton. Funny thing was I got hurt a lot worse bicycle racing than I ever did boat racing.
It's definitely not kind to certain areas. Great form of exercise but does eat up a lot of time.
My Sainted Mother always maintained that a bicycle was powered by “Britches arse steam”—— as a youth, I once cycled up to the Lake District for a long Easter weekend——— It rained from the Friday we set out — until the Monday when we started back for home.
We camped by a stream, just north of Kendal—— remarked on the quality of the water—- on the Monday we walked further upstream ——- found a dead sheep floating and bloated—— last time I ever went camping——- halfway home - my mother came looking for the four of us, put the bikes in the back of the van !
Ignominious way to end a holiday——- two months later I purchased my first motor bike—— never had aching leg muscles again—— or saddle rash!!!!
