When you told me the one who shall be obeyed at all times was a famous decorator, thought I’d better take a look at the room and surroundings to see what she’s made of!
Oh my Sweet Lord—- I wasn’t disappointed!!!
So —- she looks at the Azure sky and the fluffy white clouds——- clear blue sea which probably has white caps every third wave., not hard to understand the white and blue theme.
Let’s start with the white pillars of the earth—- white vertical drapes and crystals on the chandelier——
white balustrading in the garden—— maybe tinted blue glass in the panoramic windows—- blue and white carpet—— Chinese id say, from the fishes, scrolls and peacock feathers, set off with blue couches with the white kerfuffles and the “tree of life” patterns on the cushions—- backed up with the chrysanthemum and fishes bolsters—— again Chinese blue and white tendencies.
Even the bulbous blue pottery auxiliary lamp is keeping——- of course, the book on table has to have a blue and white covers.
A touch of class in the white orchids!
A pair of extraordinary elongated Chinese vases in blue and white take centre stage
An aerosol can of blue should take care of the green palm trees should they get any greener!
All in all—- a room created by a designer of great taste and impeccable perception?
Did I just get invited to dinner next time in town Gene?
...looks like a Biscayne Bay home. In the Gables or the Grove.
