"we converted to efi as we kept breaking bowl screws"
nobody would believe you

HeeHee not sure if the EFI was faster/more reliable but the six inch midsection was way better for handling.:cheers:

What fuel were you allowed on the f1 v8 tour?

We used high oktan pumpgas when I raced the F1-V8.

A really cool picture of Rick Frost in the London GP 1984.
His black #6 Burgess/Trimite with Johnson F1-V8 power and the updated exhaust manifold.
You can also see a Merc T-4 in the picture. I believe its Billy Seebold (#7 second picture) but he lost to the powerful Evinrude V8 on the transom of Barry Woods #35 Molinari boat.
