Any one out there ever used water based varnish? You must have to put a hell of a lot of coats down before you get anywhere near a finish!

Have you ever tried getting the Welsh Wizard to attend the OFF Lasse says he is on facebook.I still have a Hendrix prop that would make both those OMC Molinaris go that T2x and Rodger Hinsdale have.A guy in Texas asked me if I would sell it but I said no thanks.I am going to put a video on You Tube that I took of the time we went out in the Still Crazy boat at Cadillacs.!

Never tried to get the Dodger to do anything-----last time I saw him was South Africa 1984. Did see him after he quit racing----right after Pittsburg.
He was one of the three that induced me to start FONDA.
Dont do Twitts or Facebook ----if he wants to go to Tavares he don't need me to hold his hand, he's a big boy now, almost full growed.

Well, you were wondering about attendance at OFF. Our good friend, Mr. Thomason Stickle, did call about a week ago and said he was planning on attending this year. He offered to come pick me up, but I had to decline. I'll get there, it just won't be this year.

Willa my old friend, that makes me very sad, you could hold council in the big marquee at Tavares and keep everyone spellbound for days on end.
Im coming up 83 and all the statistics show I'm not going to make many more----would be nice to buy you a rum and coke (just don't tell me you've gone DIET COKE), while I've still got a shilling or two in my pocket!!

Hiya Phill-----For WILLS read "COWES TORQUAY".
In the early days 63/67 WD&HO Wills were the main sponsors.
Beaverbrook newspapers were the first sponsors ( I think,) J.

Been a week of highs and lows, had high hopes I might get to see Willa after over forty years, then he said " not this year"----Bloody Hooray Willa, you never gonna get a better chance----the sands are running, even you can't hold 'em back! And you certainly ain't going to get any more beautiful with age, (like wot I did).
C'mon people, do a bit of "grovel and plead"---he just might listen to you!
