yes we have a couple of them here, which lucky me can refer to them about set up, but honestly between, Gm250, Kevin, Ghost, Hanging and Banging,IPM, and wickedwith thestix, I have gotten a lot of help, and yes of course my limited knowlege;) oh and I forgot Doc how could I
I speak with him every morning for a briefing:thumbsup: and of course the fastest sob on L.I. Trimmed out
Warranties don't mean sh!t to me(Kia has a killer warranty too... but ya.. f that.)... Especially when marinas around here are always 3 weeks or more out before they get your stuff in. Before I bought my Yamaha... I looked at 250ho's and almost every used one on the market advertised "brand new powerhead". That is telling to me. They also look like hell, they clearly did not do a test group before greenlighting the styling at corporate. XS's work... They are fast. The 300's up here have all held together. Hard on cases for sure though. And ya... I dream all the time. We all do. We don't all get to be wicked with stix in other people's boats... So why the hell do you come on to try and out talk one of the 90% on here?
I was not calling you a dreamer. That was a poke at everyone who puts there 2 cents in with no first hand experience of a particular aplication. By the way do you know me? Do you know what I own or don't own? I highly doubt it. Don't make this a pissing contest as I was not trying to belittle you I was just saying there are valid reasons why to go white. But now that you started how much first hand experience do you have with tuff boats? How much do you have with brp? I'm assuming none lol. As for that world champion comment I really hope your not comparing the would champion Up there to the champions we get our advice and in my case first hand experience with. Cause that is a joke...again all I was saying that there were valid reasons to go white. And lastly you say your dealer makes you wait weeks before they take your warrantyed broken equipment from cause we don't wait 3 hours let alone 3 weeks lol and your a yam I guy downgrading brp? I don't see no huge numbers coming from Yamis on sobs either. It's just a matter of preference. But I guess you know everything just like everyone else lol and you made my point your deff in that 90%. Have fun in Canada with your Yami on a glass lake where it takes zero skill to drive a boat and even less skill to type on a computer your clueless thoughts that again you have zero first hand experience
lets keep calm, as far as Yammi's I learned alot from Doc and Gm250, about them, they really have it over BRP, because they is a lot of hi perf stuff avalible, and they are super reliable and have all the economical aspects of BRP, just another great choice, but yor right either black or white Im lucky enough to have all the assets avalible to me, if I knew what I know now about Yammi's they might have be a contender
I was calm till that backhanded wicked with other people's boats comment. This guy doesn't know who I am and I wasn't trying to diss him I was just saying there is valid reasons to go white. That's all. This coming from a die hard "black" guy. I do know that a close friend has a etec 225 ho that he bought new in 2012 and now has over 300 hours on and it runs perfectly, starts on a half a crank and pushes his aplication as fast if not faster than a 225 merc. So as far as reliability it's top notch in my book. Never once been to the "dealer" Maybe Yami should hire him as there spokesman cause I don't get why he got upset that I said there are valid reasons to go white. That's all.
There's black (merc) white (brp) and a grey area (Yami) none are a bad choice. At this point it basically comes down to personal preference.
