Can't remember the year the V8 F1 program started in the USA but it was after Europe. It was my impression that all USA teams leased their engines from 2nd Effort and did not really own them.

I worked part time at Action for several years in the 1970s. I worked in the shop doing pretty much everything building and rigging.
