My wife picked up a GLOCK 17 for me for christmas last year with a crimson trace laser sight. I have several guns from ARs to AKs and several hunting rifels 308,270 .300 mag. The glock is very nice can hold 17 rounds and shoots very smooth easy to control even when you are dumping the clip 40s,45s are nice lots of knock down power. But you cant beat high capacity more shots more protection.. Check one out you will not be disapointed.
Wheel gun all the way,if you cant kill em with six you cant shoot.
24 oz this one is a 9 but, I also have an identicle .40
its a great carry gun very compact and well built. Even stock it was very accurate and very controllable with 13 shots with the short mag. Comes with everthing you need case, standard mag, extended mag, mag loader, holster, and mag holder. I carry it with an in the belt custom pancake holster and sometimes forget its there. I've got tons of guns this or, the .40 are the ones I carry now.
Check one out.
OH! AND FCUK YOU BIG SIS. ;)
GOOD NEWS!!! I have removed the weight limit  I went down to Hoffman Guns today and was enlightened by the pro salesperson there :smiletest: He said them little bug guns are nice, but not fun to shoot, very inaccurate, and not a good choice for a beginner  He showed me the Luger TCP and S&W Ultra Lite .38 revolvers!!! Very nice and still light...A Glock 19? 9MM was another poly option that was not to heavy! Now this thread has to kinda start kinda' anew from here :eek::rolleyes: I dont want a real heavy gun, but a nice happy medium piece you guys have been telling me about from the beginning sounds good :smiletest: Nuthin' better than advice from gun totin' Performace boaters!!!:thumbsup: Al
Well, without a weight limit and staying within reason I would opt for a S&W Model 60 5 round .357 Snubby or 3 inch...next on my list would be a S&W Model 66 with a short barrel....I believe you can find them in 2 and a rare 3 inch Model.
Model 60 is on a J Frame or smaller revolver.
The Model 66 is an N or Medium frame and about the same as a 686 which is also a .357 that can be found in a short barrel.
Model 66 below with a 4 inch barrel and Combat Grips.

The Model 19 is an awesome revolver but a bear to conceal as it is a L or Large frame and it is.

Note, if you opt for a revolver chambered in .357 Mag you can always shoot .38 Special for practice and even carry .38 Plus P until you get accustomed to the recoil of a .357 Mag round.

I'm with ya here..I like wheels..always did.."won the West right?...no such thing jamming prob, "and if ya need more than six.."GIVE UP!"..they got ya out gunned!, And a S/W "Lite weight", decent cal, damn good nuff. And I can do a wheel "6 speedloader clip, my .357, just as fast as someone next me, dumping a mag, reload, the bench the range....but been doing shooting years, kinda learned fast in Nam though, and service, and ya all know its all, a "lotta practice", 'till second nature, even blind folded..
This post is shortly to be a worthless post....17 pages and about 5 with any real info.

Yep, not that big a deal me either...seems we need "proper speak now?"..long as they hold bullets. All I remember, as in Nam, we ran the convoy guntruck with the 16's, M 79's, twin 60's turrets, 50 cal turret, "nades", shot's..it was a simple.."RELOAD"..from some greeny, (new to country..get used to war, REAL fast..kid rat in the back, who ran ya the fresh ammo, new clips, boxes, learn the "feed", the Machine guns...(that "top door opened up"?.., ya better have a belt out the new box, ready to load!, and feed in". Strippers..(SK's, more).., call what ya want. But new loads the 60's and 50 cal, and learn to feed, when our "head" was over the "side armor"...blowing the piss out of who knows. DO now, there was return fire though, and time counts. I'm not fluffing my well worn out feathers here, but if ya have never seen combat, ya have NO CLUE, the stress ya hit, INSTANT, and ya gotta react QUICK. Best I can say here, Al, is also get a good paintball gun, go do a few matches. ANYBODY can shoot at some range target.."I'm good now!".. BS...go where they shoot back! Ya get a "splat"...? I don't care what ya carrying, the other dude just blew away....
2 more pages and I'm gonna recomend a snow cannon instead of a taser.:D
He may want to check his carry laws, when I did my test you had to have a .32 or bigger and if I took my test with a revolver then the license were for a revolver ONLY. Yet is I took the test with a semi auto I can either.
here is a nice revolver http://www.gunsamerica.com/981607943...t_Revolver.htm
Or we go hire my bud, flys a private 8 seat jet, we can go kick the side door open, simple say.."remember?..big azz freaking grin"..''some one hold my beer ..watch this..! Larry, get yer az back in the cave, there on my side, shut off the 2000 you, gimme 4000 my side..(wonder just how few even have a freaking clue, what I just said?:p:D:thumbsup:
DAMN, Larry, (thanks chiming in, as do NOT mess, the Nam Vets...(Steven Segal, is damn good at his skill, and one rough dude, but, this aint TV, staged TV..this was real coming here..).. Nam 41 years ago me, but fresh as yesterday. Heres a 1969 ,same year me, a fresh 19 year old..vid found, from your buds, up there, (Yep, Larry hung out the side, back, clearing the way), before the idiots on the ground,us, IN WELL armored tracks, "brought.."mail from home"..... and food, Potable water, for those REAL fighters, the Infantry 4th, who has seen the side of hell, down there the bush, that I have so much respect for, who went where places in the daylight, scared the crap out me, an fast In-Out, us..and they went 3 days out "there". (I edited some orig post out here, as going off subject)...Nam a PITA, but a loota fun too!

Nobody is claiming to be an expert. There is a difference so why not you the correct term?
If I said "Hey check out this cleaver that came on my boat." I'm sure somebody would correct me.

Back on topic. Maybe a blow gun? I don't think you would need a permit for that.

http://www.screamandfly.com/image/jp...BXcbClApSlB//ZMy off duty is a Colt Pocket 9. It's a 7 round automatic double action only, it's about the size and weight of a Walther but packs a 9mm round. It's very comfortable on the ankle and feels like a blackberry on the hip. It's been very reliable too, never jams on the firing line. Can't say the same for my Glock but I still love the Glock too.. (I don't have the pinky extension, I don't like those, I think they take away from the point of a small gun) I just tuck my pinky under the mag.

Good thing we arent all drinkin' in a bar together  We would be packin' our biggest penis extensions, shootin' at each others :nonod:;) CLIPS flyin', shotguns blastin', Rubber bands snappin', sticks pokin', and even a the sound of eyeballs popin':nonod::eek::D
Heres something brand new! See what you thinK>>http://www.ruger.com/products/lc9/models.html
The ruger looks like a good option.
Actually, pretty interesting thread. Saying/knowing, the right terminology is a good thing, seeing what some carry/like interesting. Lotta neat opinions...always can learn something. Plus until spring and warm and wet again, kills time. ? on me, bunch us went in Reg army, clueless, all got split up, I was MOS truck and tank Mechanic, but little did I know, mechanics ended up in rear guntrucks following convoys. Lotta time motor pool basecamp too though. The rest is history..survived, got the hell out..never know what life will toss at ya.
And life is getting weird! Went to town yesterday, weekly load up. Stopped the Riteaid Drug store here, for beer. Grabbed a cart, got 3 30 packs, paid, back to the van, unload, ready to put the cart back in, and see a small bottle way in the corner. JEEEZZZZ Its a clear see through bottle of HAND SANITIZER, with a spring clip, to hang on a belt loop! Look a little funny on me though, biker chain wallet one side, sheathed knife, and that useless crap! Maybe empty it, fill it with over cleaner?..? wasp spray? Think of something, but leave the label!
Wtf? Rite aid has beer???
I'm Movin!!!!
