...Kiekhaefer AeroMarine single engine throttle/shift control quadrant...https://images.craigslist.org/00505_...Y_1200x900.jpg
Fujimo and others; I've had the fortune to rig three dual motor boats ( 2- Switzer Wings & 1 - Power Cat ). One of the problem areas is finding a decent dual throttle / shift quadrant that is appropriate for use in a race boat.
The Kiekhaefer Quadrant below, would work nicely, but I have never seen one for sale. Wondering about the availability / price of these. It is apparent that these can easily be stacked for multiple engine control.
- For foot throttles, I end up modifiying a single foot throttle for dual cables.
- Anyone have suggestions for availability of dual throttle or dual shifter quadrants or a dual throttle/shifter quadrant???
Regards,
Roger
They are hard to find, yes. These quadrants were made for larger offshore race/pleasure boats mostly. A bit overkill for an OPC sized boat. But, if you would like to buy this particular unit, it is for sale coincidentally. Just say the word. Asking is $400.00... Nothing on the market that is a similar stackable design that has front or rear cable routing. Latham still will build you them, but at a price that isn't justifyable for use in a small outboard boat. If you have access to the right equipment, you can design & build your own dual shifter out of sheet/plate aluminum.
