IOGP St. Louis. Don't know what year but Stoker could always beat the Merc guys with this rig. This was a year where Stoker could get this thing relit for the victory lap. One year he won St. Louis and the damn thing would not start up again. He ended up doing his parade lap on the dock by foot.
#55 Al Stoker 1985.

Jesus Peek specboatops most of us are just trying to grow Old gracefully at our ages. We’re not worried about storming motes We’re trying to save the country from Joe Biden. As long as Social Security keeps kicking along and the garbage gets picked up and the buses keep running for public transportation I will just Try and muddle through. All the best to everyone on Screamin fly
Retooling to use that motor make no cense for a boat company that is all ready owned or in bed with Mercury or Yamaha or who ever. Wont fit on any older boats or will change center of gravity badly. Another pipe dream like Sea drives and Quiet rider. Hope it has a built in bilge pump to keep the water out. If You are going to build 90 percent of an outboard why stop doing that fix the problems and do things like this and see if there is a market. JUST WHAT I THINK.
Manitou boats are owned by BRP.

They are limiting them selfies to a very small market. Back in the Day they where in with Grady White, Boston Whaler and alot of OTHER Large boat companies not any more lot of money spent to build motors for one company. With every change in direction you loose horse power. Major stress on transoms with all that weight hagging back like that. REALLY HARD to keep water out of powerhead area. Have you ever worked on a ducked sea drive in salt water lots of rust very quickly with out lots of care.
