With or without a center pod, he raced a 29 ft with the same bottom design and won on a calm water race. Then they changed the rules to make it harder, so he had D W build a 32 mold of Todd's design.
Saturday, they infused a 24 ft-glass/carbon epoxy hull in a little over an hour with just under 30 gals of epoxy.
It took two guys a week to load the mold and 100 minutes to mix the resin and play with the air valves
Todd said a 500 lb carbon/epoxy is the plan, for an offshore race boat in the C3 class, yes boat has a canopy with safety hatches

The power-to-weight ratio is everything.
The C-3 offshore race class uses 225 HP Pro XS in race form with said motor speeds in the 80's
