I've herd guys that have asked their dealer if a nosecone would void warranty and the dealer told them no. How true that is I don't know.
If you do a cone you can run the water through the factory pickups so you don't need external water tubes.

Dirk, you said you were getting a 300x in a previous post. Did that happen and could that lwr be an easy swap to try?
Interesting, but I personally would not want to test that when/if push comes to shove with BRP's warranty folks. Easiest next step is to add "BajaBlockerBags" and raise the motor up to the next highest bolt. 5 minutes to do and 5mph gained. 94mph with a full tank of gas and the rear seat installed is my assumption with the 18" existing setback left intact.
How stout is the prop shaft? Once you get some height the next issue is going to be keeping the propshaft in the case, Those herring props are not cheap! and I can guarantee dont float!!!
We are a BRP dealer and it would void any gear case related warranty which may also include an overheat issue on the powerhead.

Im waiting for Noli to make up his mind
test yesterday
went up about 1 1/2" the temp went up, went down 1/2" temp good but experienced blow out.......
Thats the best way not like me I make 2 or 3 changes make a gain and sit there and try to figure out what change made the biggest difference, then forget about it. Then say scew it i got a gain all is good. haha Now if I did that and lost rpm It wouldn't be as cool!!:nonod:
So just to regroup...........
You are still running 18" of setback. A couple of days ago with the motor lower or roughly dead even with the pad, you had no blow out at all and ran 90mph with no rear seat.
Now, you raised the motor to 1" above the pad and experienced some blow out. What speed was this at ?
