Hey Gene——— remember you said it was a sorry day when Hennessy got out of offshore?—— I wouldn’t worry about it too much———- the boy (KILIAN———- what else would you call the son and heir) took over and started up in the perfumery business——but only in posh shops ! Harrods——-Dubai Duty free—— he has his own shop there .
Full range of men’s aftershave——— starts at around the $500 a bottle———- ten bucks a squirt or something like that.
Daughter Sam brought me a bottle ( refillable for $100 a pop)——- only because it was cheaper in Dubai!
But I do smell lovely ?
Did I not tell you Bob that I’m not having a birthday this year——— I’ve had 86 of them, so I’m giving it a miss this year———-so it’s only 374 days until the next one !

Mr and Mrs Boat Racing———— two of the nicest folk I ever met——- fifty years ago this November since Don Ross and I first met them in Havasu ———- he was racing a Mercury powered Jones !
Speaking of happy birthdays Mike Seebold will be 60 in March——— he’s still all pissed off from reaching 50———— he wanted to be PETER PAN forever !

With a bit of luck, a downhill run and a tailwind—— I should be able to post a piccie of the CITICORP TRAVELER———- trying to work out the final decals for her——- couple of them are quite tiddly- fiddly.

Well, what do ya know——- I silenced everybody ! —— even Pilgrim deigned to comment and it’s only Tuesday!
I get into difficulties over the simplest thing, after six attempts I still can’t get the screen on US1 right—-damned thing looked easy enough on the only two piccies I have——— but getting the cockpit —deck and screen configuration about correct, is giving me the right royal squits.
Need to sleep on it——- things can only get better !
Jackie are you trying to make the screen out of one piece bent to shape or angled parts fixed together?
Metal or transparent?
