From all I have seen on this thread I have concluded that I would love to have raced E class in Europe.

Well..the E class in Europe was extremely popular in the seventies and eighties. SE, OE/F3, E and lots of local E class racing in different countries.Quote:

After the race in Stockholm all the boats was shipped to the United States by OMC.
The next two races was first Minneapolis and the weekend after “Three Rivers Regatta” in Pittsburgh, PA

Just curious......................who paid for the boat shipments to USA? OMC or the teams?

Here is a bit more from my experience..
OMC’s Ric McChesney let me use his brand new "Jeep Wrangler pickup" for the two US races.

The two USA races in the UIM F1 World Series 1983 was a lot of fun.
After years of searching I can not find any pictures from the Minneapolis race.
Only from Pittsburgh..like this one..
