650 Sam.........Note the high speed needle....... note 1964 the bottom pan is a cut down......Top carb boss can be seen....studs not staggered......I can't see the casting on the block aka 1965 that would locate the lower floating cover........See the white MK75h in the background? My wife likes the games that you have to look at 2 pictures and spot the differceses....

non overflow floatless carbs
How did they do that?
By using very bad sentence structure to say they used regular carbs.
OMC used them on the later V-4 racers. Several alky racers used them. I know they are one of several carbs on the record setting Harrison Anzani and Michelini tried them on several motors. Gordon Jennings is of the opinion that they are second only to fuel injection

Thanks for the picture of the Scott Atwater. That is very cool. I have not seen that one. That is a highly stylized piece including the engine stand.
I wonder how that Popeyes boat aged out and where it is now. All his stuff was just so trick. The linked multi engine 2.4 Merc inboard cat was something to see. I looked that over a long time.
I have a VHS tape with speed runs from the eighties on Lake Ponchartrain LA with the big guns back then. One of his boats was in it. There is also 30 Velocity in it Screaming way up on the pad.
Doesn't really seem like it was that long ago but is is.
