I built my flat bottom trailer (twin fins under) with a revolvable light/plate bar. Two wing nuts and off. Leaving my Merc Guru rebuilt IL6 on.

Blarneys Island in the 70's, guess still preserved and was the original bar! And we stated the Thurs nite drags too! Great times! As it was small and friendly and all knew all. |

The Jobbie Nooner party is on Lake St. Clair in Michigan. It started as a Friday afternoon boating party for all of the outside jobber shops that supported GM with outside materials and production. It was a total s*** show before everyone had cell phone recorders and cameras. You could not believe what you were witnessing in public. Some of these parties made Blarney look like a church house gathering. The only thing that I was ever able to compare it to was the Easyrider rodeo in Chillichothe Ohio which used to be crazy as well.

That's amazing...Funny how that stuff goes on all over the country and you never know about it. We had the Columbus Day regatta down here back in the day, It was the same thing with huge raft ups and crazy partying but the cops and marine patrols finally made it not worth the trouble.
WOW! That's incredible......
