plus a #6 is not designed for the hp of a 300
about 10 hard hits outta the corner with a 2.5 and shes about done , 120 motor shell live a while , not with a 25 tho, tested with brendan f ound out real quick

Are you not propping it to get to 7100 or so or have you just not gotten there yet like me I haven't seen more than about 6,200 running a 34 but part of that is my bravery so far I haven't found a good spot to go for top end yet. This is crazy first boat in 30 years where I didn't get to Full Throttle and I've had it for more than a month. For the first time propping doesn't seem to be about that last mile per hour but more about how good it is all aroundQuote:

Don't forget to mention that you also run your case up in the nose bleed section so you either need the "Holbrook cheater case" or a remote pick up. Brent it the one that told me where to set my current STV/300X up at and it was perfect from day one. Getting the case set back and elevated makes a big difference in accel.:thumbsup: and handling.:thumbsup:
