Friend mine back long ago (still is!) went HS together was a solid gearhead. We called him "Sportster Eddy". Married his HS sweetie and together decades. 5 kids too. Thing is tell Pattie (wife) "going out the garage and turn the bike around" OK" Well 2 hours later come back 100 miles on the bike! And his oldest kid had a teen "garage band" Played the Teen clubs, and called themsevlves .."FREE BEER" So on the marque was "Free Beer tonight" Damn kids! And Eddy worked Sears 5 decades doing "fix it" sold lawn mowers, etc, would show up and "fix it". BUT? The stuff he saw garages? Lot were "wanna sell that"? A PAID well, "original picker" old and cool!
But one day show up to "bench race bikes" on my old Shovelhead HD (still have it) but said me "ever hear of "Toad, the wet sprocket"?
