Early 1988 I purchased the 38 Larry Smith Scarab powered by 3 X OMC V8 /Evolution Marine Phase IV 450HP engines for a customer in Finland. Very fast, but hard to handle boat.
This boat was used in the Stockholm/Sandhamn to Helsinki, Finland Offshore race later same year.
