This makes today's racing a bit boring for us Evinrude/Johnson lovers.
Tim Seebold is normally running the SST45 class as a support racing class in the NGK F1 Series.
The 2021 NGK F1 series here at Lake of the Ozarks was a last minute deal and with only one day allowed for racing, cuts must be done.
No SST 45 but the popular heavy duty TriHulls was run. All TriHulls are using older style OMC V4 1632cc cross-flow.
Some holes are drilled in the mid section for better sound. Extremely fun to watch..They drive like there is no tomorrow..bumping in to each other around the turns.
The #9 TriHull is raced by Whittney Terry Fletcher of Texas..and she was the winner. A tough girl..don't mess with her..

If I were a promoter on a limited budget and time, the ONLY class I would choose to invite would be these marvelous Texas tri-hulls.
- Cheap equipment price.
- OMC V4 powered (lots and lots of fishing motors out there)
- Intense racing, hull-to-hull, trading paint, etc
- Easy for spectator to identify with home product (Tri Hull and V4 fishing motor)
This class reminds me of USA mid west open wheel dirt track guys.:smiletest:
