That is a Furnal Flyer designed boat made out of fiberglass by Target Marine in Winer Haven and a 2 cylinder SST 45 motor, thus the SST45 class. Ian raced out if Gary Garbrechts Second Effort with Alan , Gary’s son. Ian might even worked there. Just for giggles & gags, I originally proto typed the 45 in my shop & still have all the original paperwork as first submitted to the Stock Outboard Commission & then to Edgar Rose then VP engineering at OMC.
FUJIMO provided me with a phone number and I called Ian today. It was great catching up with an old friend. He is living as far from South Florida as is possible while staying in the lower 48 states.
