Another flat water hull from Tuff
At the limit sure, but 34 ft should handle some snot pretty well.
That thing is going to be serious- My guess is mid to upper 30s...

Never, ever viewed any film of any Tuff out in the rough water. Great lake runners for sure though. I thought Howard ran high 120s in a V back in the day.
...i've designed a lot of fuel tanks for performance boats like this boat. that tank in that boat is just wrong.
They claim "estimated" "60"s on their web site. Fugi, that's with a "1" in front .. ;)
Don't know about the tank , but since it's basically a 21 Superboat with 13' built out front .. makes it look to "stubby" in the back for my liking. Maybe it's the picture, but it looks like the cabin area is even smaller than my old 21'.
Power ole boy ... look @ all them "semi-empty" drums stacked and strewn about.

I would still like to see the TUFF 24 go up against the 24 Nordic at the Parker Enduro.
Rotohead used to run his 21 Tuff in big water and it went over 100. The 34 looks narrow, low drag.
Would be great to see the photos and the film of that for sure.
Being that the Tuff 28 w/single 860/6-drive pulled 137, with another 500 HP and only 6’ (2m for our Canadian friends ;)), I’m predicting if the bottom on the new Tuff 34 is as good or better than the 28, it’ll run 148-156 once they get it dialed.
I hope for their sake it has manners and isn’t an evil b!tch, because hanging out at a buck and a half with one skeg and no counter rotating prop is dancing with the devil.
I don’t care who you are, this sounds good coming and going...

Dunno..they came to Bay City a couple years ago and was pretty much the fan favorite class. They had that water tore up and by ten laps in it was better than an offshore race.
...Silver Springs - Florida - https://www.floridamemory.com/fpc/moz/MOZ00545.jpg
I'd say the tide went out, check out the cavitation plate out of the water and the water line on the rock bulk head.
That is at the head of the silver river in Ocala Florida. Plenty deep at that location. The springs look shallow but are deep. Not enough mid for a tall transom.
...that boat has a completely flat bottom at the transom. thats a 20'' shaft motor. the boat has no payload in it yet. the water is crystal clear. its a promotional shoot only...
.
yes sir...

I had heard that some of Mercury's underwater videos of propellers & lower units, were videoed at Silver Springs Florida because of the crystal clear water.
This is one of the glass-bottom boats giving tourists a ride over the spring's river.

Silver Springs is over one hour north of Orlando Florida, and was a major tourist attraction.
But when Disney World open in the 1970's, the tourist attraction for Silver Springs started declining.
I remember going there in the 1960's waiting in line to get on the glass bottom boat, but in this video the current tourist traffic is way down. It reminds me of Cypress Gardens and other water ski shows declining too.
