Nope, had a drizzle this morning (missed it but saw street puddle.), did a boat gas up 25 gallons bathed and still the drive, back the slip a month Monday high tide. Took all day, as these neighbors showed up, and really got zip done but have a BS session (solve the worlds problems, plus bought there own drinks instead mooching off me)! Been a great day! Damn, every day I wake up first thing morning (at noon) thinking..Oh boy, here we go again life.."bring it on". Plus when I say "couch time?..could take 4 hours easy. Rock on Dave! Plus after 21 YEARS retired? "WTF is a Friday?" I don't wear a watch, just look calender once a month! Only day I pay attention too? Wednesday night...take the garbage and recycle out! Me now vacations? Town once a week, and exercise is "getting the mail end the drive"..and its all up hill both ways...HA!Quote:

Well, crawled home from the neighbors (Salmon on the grill!) and as Sat Nite. Its better be some Blues, as soon (start shopping now "heh" for that Beer, in a Tree!) NHRA the tube 20 minutes, pizza next, and "that damn couch!" ..and "feed the furry beast" giving that "eye" outside me!

Plus Jimmie Johnson who first saw them back late 70's at the north side Chi, "B. L.U. E. S club, small 200 seated. I forget just how I hooked up with them, but ended up me and the drummer good friends. So when they played, cool for me to sit back stage them. But this was the "tiny spoon years", Keith..(the drummer then", would be banging away and tap his shoulder, and put the spoon out! Never missed a beat, and even still drumming, turned around and just smiled! Soon his time "drum solo" Great times them as somehow this "white boy" was always invited anything they did!

HA! On Otis, thats what I ended up doing yesterday! Lauch the dogs boat back in the slip a month, PERFECT launch alone (why is when I do it right nobody looking?) went out, saw a friend in the bay, rafted up, killing Corona's and floating with the tide. He stayed out, and I went back the slip with wind and tide currents, STILL a perfect "slip"..(again no one looking!).
Covered up and I'm 2 slips of the main dock. Adirondack chair end the dock, sat and had a cold one, "watching the tide roll away..(in really). Great day!
But found what I was looking for yesterday...(damn we had a LOT of good music in 1969!)

On a roll here. Thing is I KNEW John Belusi! not personal but talked him many times playing 2nd city. But one day had to do a late shift work, so left for the lake Sat morning heading on RT12 to Fox lake chain. So I go over a bridge rise, and many flat beds, cranes, AND COUPLE DOZEN old "black and whites, cops cars all crashed up? But when I saw the movie? It was filmed early Sat morning sunrise. as I know that road too damn well)! Had I didn't have to work late? They blocked the road off...probably same time I got there. No big, as "luv the Blues Brothers"..! But if usual time to the lake? Would have known ZIP the movie!
