Dave! Went town weekly stock up and this coming "home" came on the "funny music box" I got in the ride..(OK, damn radio with "oldies on ALWAYS!"). Back doing the lonely 2 lane 9 mile ride off the 101 Freeway, out the "masses" now, back to the "dogpatch" This came on cranked it up. Simple thinking about yer brother. (And any others here, don't ask why as a family tragedy Dave). Hang tough dude..life can be "at anytime, things can go horribly wrong".

Hey Dave on "Wishbone Ash"? After out Nam, ended up fast Germany before ETS. But there? We went to a 4 band, starts at 2pm indoor stadium, general admission..(gates open?..pick yer feet up and get CARRIED in the good seats) But Germans like there beer, AND wine! Then it was carry in what ya want. But (can't remember the first 3 bands as did it in German, but still rockers!). Soon here comes bottles wine.."pass it on, more coming". Even with German talking with me, understood. Then here comes the "hash bowls"..same thing.."pass it on, more coming"..(actually the start of the "wave" sports events! HA!)
Last band was "Deep Purple"..started "Smoke on the water!" Over? Rest getting back to base is a foggy mem...
But when total out the service? So I know these 2 crazy Italians, Danny a "polack"..(killed a MC wreck RIP DANNY) and this dumbaz Bohack. Not saying we were wasted, as I forget..(HA!") Went downtown Chitown for a Black Sabbath concert and Wishbone Ash was the opener for BS. Damn, in the 3 years me "out country me? Music sure got better and LOUD!
Aint thought about the "night" in decades! And funny as sitting next to Danny..(I was wasted on smoke)..I thought the Amphitheater was sinking into lake Michigan and started leaning on Danny during Black Sabbeth! Shoved me upright and said me.."were not sinking YOU ARE!" Just to much damn fun! And somehow since 73...."I live"!:thumbsup:
Hey I got a idea here! Just WHAT band got ya to rocking a kid? Grew up Beatles, Stones, 50's etc, but these guys bring back some mems, and STILL at it? Me too! Growing old OK, "just don't do up" ;)
