Dude, I will never forget the 60-70's. "Muscle rides", "smoking in the bathroom/I'm 18" girls took there "boulder holders off"..(bras), cops were yer friend, not yer enemy. Then 69 to Nam? Whole new world dude, and ya grew up fast.."and REAL".
But what REALLY amazed me in Nam? The "aged in country"...(like a few months), and told us "greenies".."what we say as been here to damn long this hell hole, just shut up and listen, or ya going home in a body bag. And also, a friend mine HS, went.."green beanie" 67, before me went there. He was one TSB HS, kick any azz. And I'm out in the shop, and have a bandana hanging here. What is it? "MAC SOG", "Special Forces" And for the clueless, MAC SOG, is.."Military Airlift Command, Special Operations Group"
And I also live in the flight path into McCord AFB. Many new choppers (way to many "blades") do a fly by, but once in awhile, hear that 2 blade Huey, "wop, wop, wop"...and mems from 45 years ago hit! War goes away with age? Calling BS.........its forever but its a life. And I'm damn glad to live it!...but I digress...AC/DC..(Bon Scoot on bagpipes?)

Don't ask but somehow hit me today.."life" Be 65 next June and sometimes ya "gotta reflect life" And been a damn good run me and aint giving up, as age aint gonna put this NEW guess old fart in no "rocker" just yet.(unless it has a motor?..Hmmm)

As lived burbs Chitown then, almost went to Alpine Valley WI ski resort summer to see him. It was the night he was killed in the chopper in fog, and did not clear the hill. RIP SRV...ya still rule! A sound check him...18 minutes, so second him and his brother..(and I have there first vinyl too!).

OK, need some "Arlo" Funny the first vid, as lived it 60/70's. Now legal Co and here, and like a young kid with BB guns, no one "put a eye out". Simple smarter than that. On the second vid, I've done "Alices Restaurant", and the "Rock Store" in SoCal. "Smoke'm if ya gotta'em, and go for a ride!

And I WOULD have done "Woodstock" but?. I was in Vietnam at 19. But from me, thanks the support we heard from ya all .."back in the world". Even if we came home to get spit on as "baby killers"? 2 sides every life event, and?.....saved more refugee kids with killed parents there, and cared less what they thought back home the tube seen later "us".;) Ya had to live it real.
