Well, I bet "FOR SURE!" 1981 sounds just about right! Happy Ours.(the LOGO, was that famous yellow "smilie face").. was kinda off the beaten path any main road.. easy boat, but just off 12, Eagle Point rd, in a ride. Ever hit Eagle Point bar..the famous "Puppet Bar". Joe ran it, he was a magician. Real character!:eek:. If ya played the right song the jukebox, (he always told me..to set the crowd off)..the lights would go out, and then all KINDS of stuff started to happen. he had a mass of what looked like normal, just puppets, behind the bar, but then the they all lite up, animated, and a zillion other "effects". Remember his phoney Phone booth.

Just too much fun...he also had the "all ya can eat, Crab Leg nites.."..nothing like those days, out in the boats, drinking all day, hits Joes, eat, then "Dance to the MUSIC!" ..and those were the days of..

VERY similar weirdness, is in Milwaukee downtown. On Water Street. Ya GOTTA go there! Ask around where it is, called the "Safe House". Its a kinda old Mad Mag.."Spy VS Spy" thing...real grin..(hint...only a small door to get in..and yes, a bar...)
Ya gotta figure the "password", to get in. Just say..."I'm looking for a "safe house"..
The place is amazing...with "tricks! Last time there..me, some GF..we are sitting the bar. OH yeah..get a "Spy's Demise"..drink. Only do 1 at the most...I did 3, and my GF carried me out! Yep, ya get to keep the glass. Still have 2 here, 25 years later. Place is just a grin.
DAMN..miss it back there...

I'm sitting there, BSing..girls both sides. Soon, they are getting much taller? WTF?...(its a retractable bar stool..SLOWLY lowers, about an inch every 5 minutes...ya never see it coming!)
