Floyd was the best at near everthing. #1 in my book. Ever have one of those days and are ready to snap, go somewhere away from everyone and put on some Floyd and see how fast you mellow out.

What sill has me thinking is Floyd. 3 guys started it, like ZZ..(funny too on ZZTop, they did the first "Harley the "Homecoming" Summer fest grounds Milwaukee, 1988 85th Bday HD. And Kid Rock opened (think), or 5 years later...but ZZ was the headliner. But as most concerts ever gone to? ALL standing? HA! Many bikers have done a long ride there from all over the country. Concert ZZ started, and as so worn out crowd..just wanted a seat to sit down! Maybe 30 girls front, up and rocking..(and had to seat 10,000 too). Damn, "gotta love the REAL bikers" Just honest people out for a ride, and a "excuse for it too! (and "school never taught me any book, "Teacher"), as tossed out HS smoking in my car, parking lot 68. Said fukit. I'm going the Nam (or Mom said to me..and hit home too... Funny later as now there free smokes, beer, bullets? Guess ok to get my azz killed, or another, but tossed HS for "smoking a cig in MY car?

Dave
Got here 20 years ago, 94, after decades suburbs ChiTown. But the left coast?. Solid lib idiots. Tree hugerers, but the damn "small club bands? I needed to get "schooled" the bands here, as no Cbhitown blues here.
But I'm pretty damn sure heard Temple of the Dog And have to look what I know, was the first stones concert here too. More later..been out the boat all day, sinple "beatup"!
You would know Temple of the Dog. The best of the Seattle boys did a ĆD tribute to the lead singer of Mother Lovebone. 1Time deal, it will come back to retiered guy. The heat is getting to me to.lol.

Thing is Dave, I'm not into "slow story telling, a band showing "emotion" in a song. (But Bob Segar? freaking rules! "Like a rock"...(20 years were they go? try 40 now us!" :p
But I'm a slight "hyper" type that can't sit still. Damn, before the internet, never even KNEW words any song! Didn't care, but the music ?..."gotta dance":D
Probably my age thinking back now. (Not like I DIDN'T live the best times life, but today's "music"
3 vids ROCKING coming. Don't know if the order I wanted to post comes out right, but after Nam 69, first concert USA, what else.."Black Sabbath" and Wishbone Ash opener. Soon after was a outdoor motorcycle biker private party (bikes only in, and better be Harleys too, or jap bikes were tossed on the bonfire night!). Headliner was "Humble Pie".
Last vid what else. AC/DC. Set to my times in Nam. Probably why I was so "wound up" back in the states now at 21. I "did the Highway to Hell" 69, but I got out not in a box. And if think putting down a old pet is tough? Try doing a year in Nam, ready for the "freedom bird home", but ya have to say to those still with time in country, who "had yer back"? REALLY tough to say.."take care"...but some did not make it, and I got friends from there on that "Black Marble Wall". Nuff me..mems kicking in.......
