Tricks that old racers get up to after retirement

Well, cobbled the pair of drives together——— left ‘em ready for gearcases, if and when——- that’s still a positive maybe. Again they turned out top class———— funny how som concepts just come together smooth as silk and yet others fight you every step of the way for no reason whatsoever.
Took time out and had the royal juice removed for analytical purposes———- but couldn’t get a dental appointment————- teeth’ll Just have to clatter around in there awhile longer———- thought about super gluing the damn stump in there myself ——- but those blasted isocyanides dohave a bite to them when put next to raw flesh———- best to bite the bullet and let the dentist charge his four” pennorth “

I think the spring meeting at Tavares must be under way——— see the red bird is down there with the Boyds——— Rich and Doreen usually make the effort——— wonder why everyone kept schtum about it?—— I like to know what’s happening in the vintage world—— especially the people!
So, Roger, Noel—— any of you “old farts “ that just happen to be passing through——- drop a line or a phoggie or two, I’d like that.
Don’t have any one coming ——- no visitors or appointments——— I’m a free and fit person for the foreseeable future.
Should get a shedload of “Quality Time” in the shop—— just about done the ALEX-AND ANI concept.
Need to rearrange the worktop in the shop, not getting the full use out of the limited space!
Might spend tomorrow doing a full re shuffle.

Jackie, Tavares - Wooten Park is still recovering from the hurricane that destroyed all of their docks. The full compliment of docks isn't expected to be in place until early 2019. The CRA cancelled the 2018 March and November V&H events and indicated they no longer were going to do these. A new APBA Club has been formed and will hold the 2018 November event at Wooten Park. Will be any boats that can trailer launch. 2019 events will have crane and trailer launch.

On a new subject there may be reason for a new concept ? ! ? ! ? A class hydro (mid 70's)

Roger, you are a little poo-poo stirrer on the quiet aren’t you?——— nobody wonders who “FUJIMO “ is anymore, it’s irrelevant——— of no importance——— he doesn’t want to be known !
Could be many reasons for this——— he may have really pissed one of the old farts right off and knows he’s due for a right old thrashing should said thrasher happen on Fuji’s true identity.
Or, he may be a genuine “Mr Modesto” who wants to remain totally anonymous ( me myself doubt this).
Finally, if you look closely at the name on the boat it say. Fujimu ?
Now we all know of Mount Fuji——— but did you know Fujimo can also mean “Rainbow”———- buti cant find anything out about “ Fujimu”————very interesting !!!

Jackie, No, you need to look closer at the 1st U and the last "U" - they're not the same....thus the last "U" is an O....and I know what FUJIMO stands for, just to stir the pot a little more. The answer is on Facebook.....but not the name, so the secret is intact.

well, there it is the ALEX AND ANI unlimited——- turned out quite well I thought !
Had the idea Craig would have wanted it as a desktop thing——seeing as how this is the next boat he’s pulling out of the mould——-- but he’s not that bothered.
maybe I’ll stick it on FACEBOOK and see what transpires!

Took time out to play grandpa Jack this afternoon——- we took Little Lizzie up to Gaston’s Farm in Swindon to witness the start of the lambing season. They also have chicks and ducklings. Took her for a ride in a Big green tractor. John Dere actually ( 6032 ) Attachment 402228

Lizzie prefers tractors to dolls proms——— we could have a problem here in the future !
Gave the shop a miss this afternoon ———- was well worth it !
Sun shone all afternoon but the wind chill factor was fearsome.
