Don't get me wrong A.C./DC rocks just like the original stuff better. Brian has done a great job since day one. Still my favorite is High Way To Hell. Way to many memories and they all come back when I hear those tunes.

Dave..over 15 TIMES AC/DC? Ya one lucky SOB! Thing is I knew "rock and roll, 60's". Then in Nam in '69?. Seem things changed, Nam war. Music wise? Hell, I dunno, just lived it. BUT! The music made AC/DC"? (unknown me for years after Nam, like middle 70's.)..this was done while (think), the Nam war was going down.Thing is who EVER shoot this footage, add the rockers? Theres plenty Nam **** I care less to see, AC/DC, but this kinda covers any war we are in "still" But still wonder if song thought up "because"...WAR..? Anyway.....

Robbie seen Bon twice, then Brian the rest. Grew up in Calgary, AB and a lot of bands made sure they stopped there on a tour. Still think 2 of the best shows I went to were Queen in 73 at the concert hall in Calgary and Blue Oyster Cult in the late 80's. Back up band was loud distorted noise BOC came out twice as loud and crystal clear, great show. Eagles and Joe Walsh in football stadium was cool, month later Supertramp. So many good times.lol

Never been to any concert that didn't blow me away! Craziest was in Germany. 4 bands, general admission, drag in coolers beer and wine, hash pipes being passed around, just insane. Deep Purple was last but by then I don't remember much! I can only imagine what Woodstock must have been like...
Still one the best, RIP, Alvin Lee.

I forgot just who turned me on the these guys, but? I still like "garage bands", and better when they start doing local clubs. Gotta love the 4 bass drums! "Four on the floor"...

Heres a couple. First one is Def Leepard. When the drummer lost his arm..(search it). Well back in the 70's on the Fox Chain..(think Blarney's Island). We were on Pistakee, and one night..(our channel house, was 200 feet to the "Happy Ours"..resort. GF lived there..(parents owed it) She ready to close the bar at 1pm, and dead M/T..just me.
So here comes a car load people. Laura ready to lock the door, lights out. "Come on in". One the dudes says can ya whip up some pizza, and a lotta beer? Gonna shoot some pool now.
Well, Laura is white as a ghost! Says me.."Do ya know who that is?".."the Def:". (And the dude can shoot pool one arm too!)
She did pictures beer them in the pool room, pizza coming, locked the door, lights off outside, and said stay as long as ya want, and the "tab", is on me. They left at 3am. Did we bother them, autographs, a pic? HELL no! But they had a good time, as me and Laura.
Plus I need to get today.. .."stoned"..

Saw Def Leopard before the accident and after, blew me away how RIck adapted and did stuff with his feet that took years to learn with hands and feet in a bit over a year.

Thing is back then, as I'm NOT one to ever "bother rock people", even if met later. Like the resort. They just did a gig one the many Fox Chain clubs. Simple wanted to relax somewhere. "Out the noise". Laura simple said them.."I know who ya are, but leave ya alone here..enjoy" ZERO questions them, etc. We just shot some pool, a simple regular bunch in the bar.....just BSing normal..."corner pocket 9 ball". Or beer on me.
Laura was a BIG fan rock concerts. Never missed a "Journey" concert..(she was in love with Steve!) as any Heart concert. (damn Ann and Nancy?...voice and guitar?..."WOOF"
Dave, I have to admit you are one super rock "aficionado"! Hope the latest in life pass's on, and all is well in life.
Rock on dude.....wish the best both ya......Robby
Well, how could I avoid this? (4:05 in, "Rick".........)

As much as I like rock and blues, I'm still a "Banjo fan". Neighbor here at 73, does MEAN banjo!
