Bud wasn’t only a very well-liked member here; he is somebody that helped to shape this incredible community we all love being a part of. And that’s because of the countless experiences and friendships we have all gained here and elsewhere. Bud will be much more than a memory. Every day this site and our outboard performance community exists into the future bears Bud’s influence. He will be missed immensely. Rest In Peace, Bud.
So sorry to hear of my friend passing Bud was always there to help and let me pick his brain . He will be sorely missed , goodbye old friend I’ll see you soon …

I sent this to Bud... several years ago and he used it as an experiment. And it came out kicking ass. He had to heat it several times to let the old corrosion gas out.
It was a challenge for him to get the lettering and all. It is so perfect!!!

When we had Bud do the accessories for Tiffs boat he surprised her by doing the transom support in 2 colors. He went out of his to make a young girl happy.

Years ago I posted a joke and it was misread or misinterpreted and it came across to one of our members as me condoning drunk driving which of course I do not. Said member kind of ripped on me due to him recently losing an acquaintance to a drunk driver. Bud was one of several here that phoned me to make me aware of his post and came to my defense as they knew I don't drink. Always nice knowing you have friends that have your back. Gonna miss him.

Bud and I stomped a lot of the same dirt overseas, I served with his nephew, Dan at SEAL team 5. Words can't describe Bud, if you knew him or had any interaction with him, you know he spoke it like it was. I was on the phone the day after his death with Josh Hopkins who used to be on here, we talked and reminisced about that character, Bill Henderson's name came up a few times, we laughed, cried silently as we spoke remembering all the good and the fun stuff about Bud. It is sad to see what cancer does to people. Bud loved boating, and he loved this community, as many of you know he would cook up something delicious at just about every event he went too, and would feed everyone, and then clean up after them when they just ate and left. But that was Bud - heart of gold.
Rest easy warrior, you will be missed.
Wow super sorry to see this rest easy. God bless
Sorry to hear he has passed. God rest your soul.
Not trying to make this about me. Just didn't want y'all thinking i hadn't replied because I didn't care.
Been in the hospital since Monday last week got home this A.M.
Yesterday a memory popped up on my bookface page. It was from Plymouth in 2015. Bud and David Carver were tagged in it.
It really sucks when a memory pops up and both of my friends that are tagged passed. Godspeed....
Godspeed Bud..
