Dave is referring to the strake modifications and recent running surface extension on Garys race. I wanted Rick to put it on the DW28 deck but it would have been a water scoop to fill the cockpit anytime you were in reverse. Doug doesn't add weight to anything without purpose.

With no pics showing the "3.0 to 2.5" adapter i believe that is just a myth.

I would say water between adapter plates.
So if a hull pickup is breathing air the water from the other still wins

^^Yep, water pressure balance tube between motors when in turns.
