1977 I sold more big powerful Evinrude V6 200HP 2.448 liter at my dealership than OMC could send me. Mercury/Mariner did only have a small 2 liter 175 HP outboard..

I always liked the look of those cut-down type cowlings. I can imagine that it may have caused some aero issues, especially in a cross wind, but it sure looked good!Quote:
