The sporty is great. I ran to 128 with that case but it had some quirks up top, and/or I was at the limit of set up. Slowing down was very tricky.
All I have on the boat right now is a 1979 150 with 130 psi heads, a wee bit of port work, wh-22 carbs, 200 tuner, and a preload 2:1 gearcase with a hydromotive cone. It ran 86 in the cool air tonight and I burned 9 gallons of gas in 54 miles with a some idling at 750 rpm. And you don't even have to touch the steering wheel on top end.
