where are the hst guys

yeah i planned on getting a cone put on my cle and sending it out to titus for his mods aswell...

i ran today for about 4 hours mid 90's all day but im feeling like im hitting a wall at about 94mph but im learning alot for my first set-up im not doing too bad... i get a little faster every time out ;)

the boat is very driveable though i enjoyed it today...

They do drive easy.

was it stable at 94 or did it feel like it was lifting ?

im starting to know the boat better now it felt stable i mean dont get me wrong its def packing air and has some lift but im starting to get the hang of starting to jack the motor at about that speed and flatten her out... i have to check and make sure my rev limiter is actually disconnected i thought i did it right but it feels like i hit a wall at about that speed.
the boat def lets you know when you have too much trim it starts to really fly the bow and the ass sticks in the water but you just trim her down and correct it , she gets set and starts pulling again

i bouht the boat from bernie elskamp from mukwonago wi he got it from john grath not sure on the last name hard to read in the ad he is from brainerd mn its a 91 hst say is the only one left with this hull design and 7 color let down blue and white bernie was told it was the last one built the 1st owner said he had a pic with pipkorn when it came off the line but woulnt give up the pic

I've been enjoying the HST for the last half of summer. I finally got it back together and the old lady would come in it when I was breaking it in only. Then she started to like cruising in it. Now I've got her up to about 80-90 so far and she seems comforatable. She likes it way more that the Voyager becasue it takes the chop better (way better) and it's so stable. About 86 or so is when I start trimming down. Dont really know the speed you can just feel it. I find that the trim is a little to fast at that speed for me if I just tap it the bow wieght can change alot. I've got september to get the setup right now that all the tourists have gone home(surfing wakes). But still with no much set up and not ideal conditions I saw 106 and It'll do 96 with three people in it. I really love the sound of a 2.5 screaming, and i'm loving it more and more.

Thats Crazy!!!!!!!!!!HST with a 150 doin almost 90:thumbsup: Good gas milage to Boot....You Lightweight:D:cheers:

lol I got stuck with this motor due to non payment, I did'nt like it at first, but it will idle all day long at 700-750 rpm with a 28 on it and not even sputter (after I sh*t canned the merc electronics). Every time I go to the gas pump I like it more and more. :)

hey i was just wondering about something after doing more reading about the hst, how many of you guys have an hst with the tag that says HST skier?

my boat weighed in at #1645, with me, the prop, full interior, and i never tried to lighten it up at all yet... it also has a 20" ridgeback mid, 2 hole cle, 1994 260... hydraulic steering, 28 gallon fuel tank, original rear sub floor(should lose some wet wood this winter)
oh and my gear...
