I did month long CC M/C rides, back in the 90's, out Illinois, here West coast, and back. Kansas is simple MILES OF CORN..(old Truck RT 36), but always shoved old DAC, in the HD bagger cassette player. (PS..if you are on a bike in ...Kansas,summer, get cover FAST, motel, at 3pm.That gray horizon..running into, will kick yer ass silly. Trust me, base ball hail comes from no where, ahead the storm. I always carried my tent, whip it out, and put the helmet on, do a "pyramid", over the bike, me on it) . But even later, dusk? "Holy Chit,"..basic..(Dorothy).."Toto, I don't think we are in Kansas anymore!" BUT the best people on earth saw me on the bike,.."put in the barn, this could be a good one coming"....AND in Kansas, was always.."David Allen Cole". Still have a cassette here him, greatest hits. (Damn, my young then now old ass, REALLY miss those days, but damn glad I done'em too! (the original redneck outlaw too)
