John McCall really got it right with my boat. That boat was built in the fall of 1968. The picture I posted was from 1974 and this boat was still winning races through 1975. Not many race boats remained competitive for such a long time.
Racing at Key West Outboard Club was one of the great pleasures of my racing career. The first few times it was the 60 mile handicap format and then the one hour races. At the beginning it was all flat bottom Raveaus and twin engine catamarans. At the end it was v-bottoms and tunnel boats and a lot faster.
