Yep, JUST LEVEL FLIGHT! NOT "oh chit" moments! Long ago lower Fox River Illinois Chain Lakes. Left a water front bar, headed back up river and pretty foggy, but only water level 12 feet up maybe. 3 other people with me. GF front, another couple back seat in the Switzer. Doing WOT, went under a bridge, hanging right side river...(well known river) and soon see middle river a way up there front Nav light just left me! Well, its a plowing 30 footer cruiser! Off the foot and hit the first wake. "Too the moon Alice"! I looked at the moon above. Cleared the fog layer, then looked back at the rear light, people and we were clean out the water about 3 feet! Slammed down and all went well. Lotta scary fun! We all lived for another day.."the next time" stupid. Gotta love a "throttle below ya, and a bottle in front ya"..(and good Angels always help to survive)! ;):D:thumbsup:

[QUOTE=AZMIDLYF;2932450]Attachment 368298[/QUOTI spoke with Steve Stepp about this hull, I belive if my memory serves me correct  this boat was originally owned by a NFL player, he has passed, his son has completely gone through it and has it out at poker runs now. 2 small blocks with speedmasters. nice shot. fun out
TNT just brought the Bertram Tornado back to life. Gorgeous piece of history.
