I am ready for a non event again . Anyone else ready to :)
I thought you were havin one:confused:
I am heading off to an event, out to Oshkosh for a week of aircraft. Happy and sad since I have not even pulled the winter cover off a boat yet.
was thinking about you the other day, Charlie, need to stay in touch and get back with it!!
Thank you Nick, since my surgery last year I have gone through a return to life. My work is busy, Back in April I am back on a race bike, just track days but it is rewarding. I am also back into planes although I need to go slow with the build of the plane I am doing now since I have not finished my Turbo Hayabusa powered track car, that needs to get done first.
granddaughter [12] races quads [90/250] and 80 cc dirt bikes, happy you're back at it!!
Just in case anyone is interested, here is a cool video showing how low the water is at Sacandaga in areas that we normally run through in June.

I'm here now at the pub having drinks and dinner. It's crazy low. At the romp it's usually around 770. Right now it's 755. Took a ride around the lake today and couldn't believe how much beach there is. I was going to put the pontoon in for one last ride. Glad I didn't.
Thats crazy thanks Kent
In late November, Larry Saupe took me for an hour flight in his Kitfox plane. We buzzed Sacandaga for a good part of it. Of course, I had to strap a GoPro to the wing strut. Here is the video if anyone is interested:

We took off from Broadalbin by the launch ramp and flew around Sand Island, then away from the lake. At about 1:30 into the video, we come back to the lake by the Batchelorville Bridge. After a low pass by a grass strip airport, we run the west shore line. Check out how little water there is! At 3:15 we do a donut around Lanzi's, their docks are high and dry.
Happy Holidays, y'all!
THANKS..................
