Felsens old boat, not exactly the best 32A to show! Nice wreck on utube of it! :)

S3 Striking distance was originally AKA; Sundance Skater and then the 1st Mobil One boat. I originally rigged that boat when it started as a pleasure boat with the owner who got into offshore racing with it.
He became world champion and help put Skater on the map in the day. Does anyone know where it is today?

Approximately what time-frame ( years) did all this happen? It would be interesting to have more details, Ron!

Started around 1983/84 or so from what my limited memory says.

[Heres one of my 36 skater before I was able to buy it. John Robinson won big in prostock.
