Now that's funny right there! One of the salt water rivers we have here is way overpopulated with weekend one-timer kayakers and rental kayaks. I enjoy swamping them when they paddle down the narrow channel we have in the river. The signs are clearly up, clearly not being followed by them. Sorry not sorry... I'm not putting my nice stainless prop through the oyster beds, nor am I coming off plane in 2' of water (yes, that's the channel depth in some places lol). So a-swampin we will go!

I bought a Toon this summer, totally rebuilt it, put on a 4 stroke Honda. Sucked up a whopping 2.5 gallons in 4 hours with 4 people. 2nd time out it sucked down 4 gallons in 5 hours, but i was cruising on a big windy lake at 3/4 throttle. The cool thing is that after running my STV its crazy feeling the toon literally float over 16" waves and wakes smooth as glass.

Pontoon boat-think of it as the crew cab pickup or Suburban of the lake. Hauls the kids or friends and all their stuff. And much nicer equipped than the ones we remember from back when....

Dang..70 mph toon.. I would probably have to go back and get most of my friends and dogs..lol..

down side to toons at least here in Fla. On the intercoastal in Ormand Beach north of Daytona at the end of my street I often would sit on our dock and watch sunsets, one evening I remember seeing a group on one get out of the channel and run up on some oyster beds, thin walled aluminum doesn't stand a chance, end result was one toon filled up with water and some severe listing was the last I could watch, being probably 1/8th of a mile away, and in the mid 80's before everybody having cell phones, I had to just walk home. #2 I did not witness but just herd of was,,, a group of people on a day all of a sudden were drawn to the bow area to observe something and with the weight of 6-8 people looking from the extreme front was enough to raise the prop out of the water and stop foreward movement and tump all of them into the drink. that's all I got, fun out
