My Baker competing in its first and last Parker 7hr.Attachment 392434Boat was owned by Delbert Teague and Bill Deming. Jerry Baker showed up right before the race with a one off deck cover. According to Del, testing was done right before the race and the boat picked up MPH running north of 105 and spooky. Two laps in a rogue boat cut the course and Del barrel rolled the baker. The boat went back to Jerry
Any of you guys that used to race this know john mesh? He lives near me and tinkers on cars part time. Whenever I'm at his place I get a pretty cool history lesson on boat racing. I think he used to run molinari's?
