No, it is basically a personal toy that shows the workmanship of the fab shop he runs in NZ.
Front end is from a Yamaha R6, rear mono from a Ducati, frame hand built, and Brembos from KTM. He is currently building 2 CR250s and a CRF250. I have not had a response from him yet.
I have an authentic never registered 1966 Ducati 250 flat track bike that was built for flat track racing back in the late 60's. I got it from an old lady. Her hubby died in 1976 from Mad Cow Disease. She put it in her basement under packing blankets until I saw it a few yrs ago and bought it. Its a time capsule.Quote:

Speaking of time capsule bikes, I have a mint 91 sturgis with 8,000 miles on it if anyone is interested. At one point these bikes were bringing 25K and I thought that it would be smart to just hang on to it. I am the 2nd owner and its all stock other then drag pipes and a corbin seat.

I had a bike built by Mert Lawwill and that is one that I wish I had never sold. I had a lot of fun with it and everyone commented on it where ever it was.Quote:
