This is what I did to my '68 1250. Served me well, now it is doing service for Bob Schubert. Still running strong!!!

New "Merc mems" coming here soon! Friend mine here had a 23 Eliminator V hull, 250 Yammy "Saltwater Series". 2 years ago new refrigerator 300 ETEC. NOW? Having built a NEW (length not none yet) in CA now. Twin 400 Verados! "Back in Black" Guess he will be "king of the dock now". And he makes his money doing just what? Builds and equips COP CARS!
