Had an almost uninterrupted day on CCBB. Fitted the windshield and the pair of acetylene lamps —- done the fuel tank and the pair of rear acetylene’s——- forgotten how long it takes to fernagle four lamps. Piccy over the weekend [if i strike lucky]—- Bloody Thursday again tomorrow—- seems like its an every other day occurrence—— damned helter skelter of life is now getting up a head of steam .
A week Sunday and i will have made the big nine oh. Damn, i will soon be as old as Gene !!!!!!!

Exhausts have never been a favourite of mine —trying to do a six into one that’s looks like it belongs —this is one from the scrap bin from an earlier “gone wrong”. I will get there one way or another .

Dont know if any of you remember the Lake x tower i made some years back, well i sent it to the USA via Hermes and FedEx . Recipient never received it . This was the 3rd November- here we are three months later —— nobody knows anything—-i tried from this end . NOTHING. No explanations — no redress —— its in cyber space somewhere . Trouble is , i dont have another to replace it with.
Not often they lose a parcel—- and i have known one to take two months to deliver . But i think this one has just “BEEN LOST”. Short of insuring and tracking, which adds enormously to the delivery. Charges , i dont know what else i could have done .
Turned a tad colder —- but nothing like the minus ten with 12 inches of snow the clever forecasters predicted .
Have to sit down and write a sensible response to the folk who turn up at my birthday bash . Thought i would just ad-lib like i usually do when asked to do a speech . But i was reminded there are children and girls present so would be better off with a little preparation .
Be glad when its all over and folk will leave me be for the next ten years..

A while back , government decided they weren’t getting enough tax from the thrifty house owner . So they imposed a “HOUSE TAX” .
Below £250-000 [there is no such thing as a house below 250,000 anywhere in the uk] no tax .
above That threshold you pay anything from three to ten thousand. No escape —no ifs -buts or appeals .its the law !!!!!!!!
So, being the gentle citizen that i am — i bought a house —- just a small two bedroomed terrace house in a quiet West Sussex village . If all else fails - we had at least , a roof over our heads and it was paid for . Bear in mind— that is the only house i owned . I lived in a rented house for the next ten years .
I did rent out the house —- paid the feckin revenue people tax on every “UNEARNED INCOME” POUND I EVER RECEIVED . For the next nine years .
decided to buy a small house in my village . I was able to do this by selling the terrace house .
Of course the value has increased a fair bit [one of the reasons for buying it in the first place] It’s ok though — because its the only house i own- WRONG-WRONG-WRONG— GIMME TEN GRAND —-
England is not the place it used to be —— you have to be wealthy to even visit or travel through it these days —let alone reside here .
You make me feel better about my property tax bill this year.
Jackie: I think I see a move to Florida, USA for you in the not too distant future. Sunshine thruout the year (like NO SNOW), no income tax and a lot less "House Tax" and you can buy a house for 1/3 of what you pay in UK.

Gary and Lou were going to be my surprise guests at my party next Sunday. However Gary called me to say they would not be coming as Lou had a Bad fall and split her head open. After being taken to hospital and having the wound stitched , doctors advised her it would not be a good idea to fly, hence the visit being cancelled . Not the best start to the week.
All the geico toys have gone , no sign of them left at the STUART facility.
HUSKI race team will be fielding two race boats with Steve and Pat as the jockeys —- no surprise as to the throttle Man in the second rig . Been around as long as Stevie ?????
Gary and LOU will be running the team , racing begins in March —all being well.
