Jackie. We all pay for the excesses of our youth in our old age. I have recently been fighting with a back injury collected at a race in 1969. Even though it hurts now I wouldn't take back a bit of it.
Also remember that "it seemed perfectly reasonable" at the time.
Indeed it did...I worked in boiler houses full of asbestos at the time...oh how we laughed as those white "snowballs" shattered against our overalls..

Its the start of the bank holiday weekend-----90 degrees forecast------wall to wall sunshine, recipe for carnage on the roads with everyone rushing to the beach with a smart phone in one hand and a cold drink in the other while driving.
I used to love reading, mainly popular stuff, David Baldacci, Tom Clancy, Stephen King, Jeffrey Archer and the likes, after a week of reading and dot dot I can't wait to get back to normal.
Did put out my posh "Lafuma" recliner even though I never actually sat in it------but who knows, I may give it a try over the weekend.

Managed two hours in this contraption this afternoon-------read a book, had a cup of tea, biscuit and my three afternoon pills--------might just do it again tomorrow.
Temperature hit 85 this afternoon with the forecast for around 90 over the weekend.
Im slowly learning how to enjoy relaxing without feeling guilty!
Did the car boot today, and the scrapyard, weather was crap, overcast and raining. Weather men got it all wrong-----------still got shorts on and my arse is frozen. Knew I shouldn't have gone into shorts before July.

Managed to pack six of the concepts into an aluminium box I bought at the car boot sale this morning for a tenner---------trouble is, it weighs in at 125 pounds-----------wonder what the cost of that mother is to ship !

Well, I can now tell you, to ship that box to Stuart florida is £165 !

Jackie. Can you explain how the P-1 class works? It looks from the outside like a managed one design class? Do the owners/sponsors buy the boats and maintain them themselves or are they leased/rented and maintained by the P-1 organization?
