It’s not just raining— its tropical— storm drains are overflowing —-reservoirs and lakes are full— what’s the betting we have a water shortage in august. If we do i shall sue the water board for incompetence . Considering the fact i pay the greedy bastards for water coming in AND water going out to the tune of several hundred pounds .. they should provide a better service before paying management millions !!!!!!!! Just saying —- end of todays moan —— maybe more tomorrow !!!!!

Our political environment in Southern California lets the majority (almost all of it) of rain water run through the concrete LA river out to the ocean (bye bye drinking & bathing water). And then they (the politicians) put water usage restrictions & over-usage fines on the citizens.

Finally stopped raining—— for a while anyhow . Everything is so wet , it would be hard to start a gas fire . Amazing isnt it —- world DIDNT come to a stop—- pubs and restaurants stayed open for new year —- omicron numbers falling —- Folk beginning to wonder if we wouldn’t have been better off doing nothing . Just heard the sad news that my very dear friend TOMMY STICKLE died —- we had been friends for over fifty years . One of the few friends i never had a row with. Roomed with him at the PARIS HILTON in 1969 . Met MARCIA later that year. Been friends ever since . We had some great adventures together . Every time he came to SAINT LOUIS he would stop off and collect a shed load of BROTTS —- everyone just knew he would —- that was Tom .
I AM SAD FOR MYSELF AS I LOST A GOOD FRIEND— SAD FOR MARCIA — SAD FOR THE SEEBOLDS .
He was truly one of the all time greats.
HE HAD A BEAUTIFUL RV i was staying up any the house in Tennessee and it came to my turn to drive —-Tommy fell asleep in the back — we were running a cool 85 when he woke up and looked at the speedometer —— he went APE . How was i supposed to know he had only just bought it ??????

My eldest grand daughter LOUISE [GARY‘S WIFE]. WORKED AS A WAITRESS AT CLARETTA‘S when she first went to live in the USA—— she was fluent in Italian and English which went down well with all the customers .
CLARETTA‘S IS STILL A REGULAR DINING HAUNT OF THE FAMILY WILSON —AND CADILLAC—-AND THE STRAYS .
Me —I’ve dined there a number of times . Palma Ham is still imported from Italy. Just about as Italian as it gets in the USA. Still run by CLARETTA.
Gary tells me that all‘s good for next year — he will be boss man of a 2 boat HUSKI Superboat race team. Stevie will be Throttle man and the pointer will be ??????? He never told me that .

Grim reaper has been doing the rounds this Christmas — Many of you will know JAMES SHEPARD . He drove in the world offshore series in 2007/8/9/ with my grandson Craig. Winning the title three consecutive years —- he later steered MISS GIECO with throttleman STEVIE CURTIS .
SAD to relate he lost his wife LIZ after a long illness . Sincere condolences James and the children ‚ he still lives in the next village to Southwater— has done for many years .

Rain finally stopped for a while sun came out for most of the day yesterday. England finally got back to work . Boris made the right decision for once —it would appear . Couple of good friends no longer with us . One of the reasons i keep a low profile these days , dodging the reaper .
Mood of melancholy all day— went up to see my old neighbour EDDIE JEGLA he lives on his own —- is 95 and not in the best of health . Went with daughter BOO . Try to see her at least once a week as i do my other daughter SAM .
Bloody Thursday yet again . Hard frost this morning. Obviously its the car boot sale at Ford Aerodrome and then on to the scrapyard seeking treasure . Day that i find it ,I’ll let you know .
