looks like they are trimmed out to make them go...propshaft not level, thats SLOW....

No one has asked yet......how fast are these X cats going with the 400s?
I saw that 2 of the 3 podium spots for the Speed Run event in XCat were held by two strokes. The 400R Victory boat was number one though.
So 400 4 slug = 280 2 stroke
Sounds about right.
I wonder if they have to carry more, less or same fuel
2nd, 3rd and 4th place out of the Speed Cat runs were all 280 Boats... Obviously Victory Team grabbed 1st place.. That says a lot! Especially when the 2 stroke boats can only be 220 lbs lighter. Weight difference of motors alone amounts to 440 lbs..
And due to "technical difficulties", they did not live stream the straight runs or uploaded the video on Youtube.. I'f i'm not mistaking they always streamed and uploaded every single X-cat race these past few years..
Yeah I could not get the stream either. 5 boats still run the 280s and 11 have the 400Rs. The 280s obviously have the set up and operating experience advantage but the 400Rs I'm sure will get there. I want to see these things run in race conditions handling some water.
