Honestly, I won't even get into the "Outlaws" of 70's Country music... There is just too much to keep linking, a real depot of musical talent that may never happen again... I will link this to kinda send this thought into the wind.

Story here, on the filming! Blues Brothers! Done Chicago, and burbs. I took off for the "Chain of Lakes", 45 minutes from my week house, then the lake house, need a ride in the XS150 Switzercraft! Coming up "12", at I think at "176"?..go over the bridge, and on the side are a bunch tow trucks, cranes, flatbed trailers, gotta be 30 old "Black and Whites"..old cop cars, all smashed up, just off the right. This is BEFORE, I knew any the film making. Kinda shook my head, and kept on trucking to the lake.
Seems the massive chase scene was filmed dusk Saturday night..Sunday the clean up.
AND!...when lived back there, we used to do the "Second City"..party in the downtown Chi. Afterward, we would all go to some close bar, and many time, Belushi, (lived in Glen Ellyn)..and rest crazy crowd from the then too come..'Saturday Night Live"..would party with us. John was ALWAYS..wound up!..late into the night..freaking character. Money, and coke, killed him.
Heres the original Blues, "Sweet home Chicago"..Robert Johnson.
I gotta a real "old BLUES" streak in me...and thats coming next!
Anyway, old Robert Johnson...

WHOA.."I need a break here!"...(smoke is coming out the ears!.."burning brain!")
This is in the top 5 of My favorite old county songs EVER... There is a certain emotion that can only be tapped by country music of that era, and Dolly Parton can deliver a song in a certain mood like no other human... This is a perfect old school sad country song, and DAMN SHE WAS HOT back in the day...
