They put a plug in the mold and then pulled it out with the boat. That is definated one of the original mod vp boats. They put that in the with the thought that it would grab in a hard turn and the boat wouldn't hook.Quote:

With this antispin option the sponsons get even wider at the back (not efficient imo because no way you can build compression)
I've been thinking about cutting the front of the sponson. (the part that goes inwards the tunnels and that makes them smaller)
The sponson isn't wider it is an angle into the orignal sponson so it doesn't stick out, it is recessed in. The only boats that had them were the race boats, they didn't put them in the ski boat version.
i'm talking about my hst and yours. The sponson stick out at the front section of the sponsons (bow). Dont think it's good that way...Quote:
