This APACHE has nothing to do with any boat across the pond--
Owned by Jerry Kilpatrick- maintained by me----------

Must have been the transatlantic crossing, saw him a couple of times down at SWMF in Poole . He was in deep at that time.
Rick's first----and----last OFFSHORE adventure???[/
Think he was more into circuit racing in Europe than offshore. I visited his shop a couple of times with Pruett and Sirois . Used to go to Sarasota and stay with Pruett. Seemed like all the racers lived there, For some strange reason Merrick Lewis actually seemed to like Him (FBI).

Hey Gene, looks like my old friend and customer Dr Jack Greenberg on the left.. I will never forget him telling me "don't ever run. I have those runners on my table every day".. Great guy that really got taken for a ride.. When I heard about it I overhauled his 930 for free. When he decided to sell it, he sold it to me cheap.. This must have been a long distance race..
...the good doctor passed away exactly one year ago...
Thanks FUJIMO but I knew that. One of the nicest guys I ever knew.
They are ALL gone---RIP

''WE NEED A BIGGER BOAT"Attachment 477988
Wasnt Rick the riding mechanic on that one Gene?
I did a great concept of that boat, but no takers. It joined the MALIBUSTANG under the bench. Coincidence or what, It was only yesterday I pulled it out.
Incidentally Im having a fire sale as I’m moving house , everything I have (30/40 raceboat concepts) is going. $150 each. Every one of them has been pictured on the “TRICKS” thread at one time or another.
Just email me on [email protected] Promise I’ll get back to you SAP.
When they said WE NEED A BIGGER BOAT-----GG said--HOW BIG??? Nearly bankrupted BRUNSWICK---
Rick said NO MAS---

The FALL OUT of this story continues to this day------------------------------------FUJI???Attachment 478053
Saw on the news that Hamilton had another bit of luck today. He won the Bahrain GP. As he makes his way to hundred pole positions and a hundred GP F1 victories. Cours, he does have a half tidy form of transport in the Merc.
What .was it KIPLING wrote “If you can keep your head when all about you, are losing theirs ? “ etc.. I think Lewis must have been listening .
think thats nearly a dozen he came out on top. of course im told its all down to the car and very little to do with ability . Didnt Bottas have the same car?
yep, sure does.
So do I---:)Attachment 478057
Doesn't matter--
Somehow---after Brunswick had shut down the BANK---$$$$$
ARNESON and DETROIT got involved---and John Stenbeck---

How about some photos of your concepts so we can remember...
Got a tunnel boat with a v8?
Could have, but I can’t remember. There’s a chest full of boat concepts (15/20 ) that I carefully packed up two tears ago. Still sat in the corner of the shop. Cost of postage is $200 plus, so I never sent it.
Now im on the move again, I simply have to reduce everything I made at knockout, or drown in Concepts. I know there are half a dozen Switzer concepts and a dozen offshore cats and Vee bottoms and even more circuit tunnels ! Desperate means call for desperate measures as my sainted mother used to say.
I have Singapore post mail drop address in the UK can take things up to a cowl size and 20kg
Ok , I’m sure I could keep the weight down to under twenty kilos.
Silver Ghosts weigh in at 7/12 kilos, depending on how ambitious I was at the time.
Metal tunnel boats and mounts between 5/7.
wood concepts 2/5 kilos.
Was only the big chest with 15/20 concepts that went 55 kilos.
Might just sell it as a job lot firesale for £1500. ???
